Apache Firearms specializes in antique firearms, primarily in the period from mid-19th century through the early 20th century. We also offer for sale some modern firearms. We are also interested in purchasing guns of this time period which can be identified with an individual owner or a documented family history.
Our primary business mission for Apache Firearms is to assist other collectors and gun enthusiasts in building their collections. Our goal is simple and uncomplicated: to ensure that every customer is satisfied.
Photographs and descriptions of every firearm will be provided. And in most cases for Colt SAA revolvers, a factory letter will be included with the gun purchase. If you desire more information on a specific gun or have a "gun with history" for sale, please contact us at "[email protected]".
We have been collecting for over thirty years, focusing in the areas of Colt SAA Revolvers and Winchester lever action rifles and carbines. The primary area of interest is in firearms with an associated personal history. In our personal collection, examples include a Colt SAA .45 caliber revolver which was once owned by a Rough Rider, a Colt revolver that belonged to a Texas deputy sheriff and a Colt revolver which is reputed to have belonged to Henry Starr, a late 19th - early 20th century Oklahoma outlaw.
Finally, it should be noted that the antique guns for sale on this site are specifically not warranted for shooting. Guns of the 19th and early 20th century, regardless of their physical appearance were not designed, manufactured or intended to tolerate modern ammunition. Therefore, we do not recommend or endorse firing such guns and our only intent is to sell any antique firearm as a collector's item. Any used firearm should be inspected by a competent gunsmith for safe operation, functionality and proper ammunition type before attempting to shoot it. Descriptions of mechanical function or condition do not imply that the gun has been inspected or approved for shooting. Regardless of condition, we will accept no liability, expressed or implied, as to the shooting safety of any firearm listed on this site.
